Step 2 · Connect your AI
Connect Claude to Eidari
Custom connectors work on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise, on claude.ai and in the desktop app. Free allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner has to add it for the organization first.
Before you start, sign in to Eidari and create your profile (step 1).
Add the connector
- In Eidari, open Setup, then Connect your AI, and click Copy address. Or copy it here.

- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
- Click Add (or +), point to Custom and choose Web.
On some plans the button is called Add custom connector. Anthropic is rolling out a new version of this dialog, so yours may look a little different.
- Enter Eidari as the name, paste the address, and click Continue.
- Claude shows how the connector signs in. Choose Sign in now for authentication and Register automatically for the OAuth client, then click Continue or Add until the dialog closes.
Claude usually detects both settings on its own. Pick them explicitly anyway: this is the combination we tested end to end. Leave request headers empty.
- A Eidari page opens. Sign in with the link we email you, choose what Claude may see and do, and click Allow.
Shortcut
On the Eidari setup page, the button Open Claude settings opens Claude's add-connector dialog with the name and address already filled in. Anthropic does not document this link, so if it stops working, use the steps above.
Switch it on in a chat
- In a chat, click + in the lower left of the message box, open Connectors, and switch Eidari on.
- Send the first sentence from step 3 of the setup guide.
Team and Enterprise
- An owner opens Organization settings, then Connectors, and adds the address as a custom connector.
- Then each member connects it from Customize, then Connectors, and signs in with their own email.
Check that it works
Send the first sentence from step 3 in a new chat. Then open Setup: it shows that Claude is connected. To change what Claude may see, or to cut it off, use Connected AIs.
Something does not work
Claude says I can't add another connector.
Claude Free allows one custom connector. Remove one you don't use, or use a paid plan.
Claude saved something, but it is not in my profile yet.
When a new entry from Claude conflicts with one you already have, touches values, boundaries, motives or personality traits, or is a personal entry while Claude may not see personal entries, it waits for you. Open Profile and confirm or reject it under new entries, please confirm.
Claude does not use my profile.
Connectors are switched on per chat. Click + in the message box, open Connectors and check that Eidari is on.
