What is Eidari?
Eidari is a personal AI profile you own. You introduce yourself once, and you choose which AIs, like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, get to read it. It’s stored encrypted, grows with you, and nothing is shared without your say.
Is this another AI chat app?
No. You keep using the AIs you already love. You just share your profile with the ones you choose — so you never have to start from scratch again.
How is this different from an AI’s built-in memory?
An AI’s built-in memory stays inside that one AI. Your Eidari profile belongs to you and goes with you to every AI you choose, so you can switch AIs without starting over.
Where is my profile stored?
During the beta, in the EU (Supabase, Stockholm), encrypted at rest with a key held on our server. That means it is not end-to-end encrypted yet. Where we’re heading: your profile lives encrypted on your device, a copy in the cloud is always your decision, and your other devices get their own encrypted copy.
What does an AI actually get to see?
Only what you allow. Before you connect an AI, you see the exact text it will receive. Your everyday basics — how you like to talk, your boundaries — come first. More personal things need your permission for each AI, and the deeply personal is never shared unless you say so.
How does an AI connect to my profile?
Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets AI apps connect to outside tools. An AI that supports MCP connectors can be linked to your profile, and you approve each connection yourself.
How does my profile grow?
When you mention something new while talking to an AI you connected — a new project, a preference, a change of plans — it can be added to your profile, marked with which chat it came from. So you don’t have to repeat it next time. Everyday things are saved automatically; anything that touches the core of who you are, like your values or boundaries, waits for your yes.
Can an AI write something wrong into my profile?
It can get something wrong, just like a person can. That’s why every change shows up in your profile with where it came from, and you can undo it with one tap. Your values and boundaries can never be changed without you saying yes. And if you’d rather review everything yourself, you can make every change ask first.
Do work and private updates stay apart?
Yes. Updates from your work chats go into your work profile, and updates from your private chats go into your private profile. Nothing crosses over unless you move it yourself.
How do I keep work and private life apart?
You can keep two profiles: private and work. You decide which AI gets which, and which devices carry which. A work laptop can hold only your work profile.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one, and your email is all it takes. Enter it, click the link we send you, and your account is ready. No password needed.
What if I lose my device?
During the beta, your profile is tied to your account, not to one device, so you simply sign in again. Once on-device encryption arrives, you’ll set up a way to recover your profile, like a second device or a recovery key.
What does it cost?
Your profile and one connected AI are free. On the free plan, your profile stays exactly as you edit it. The one paid plan is what makes it grow with you: automatic updates from every AI you choose, on all your devices, for 10 a month or 100 a year in your local currency, adjusted to local purchasing power. Always round numbers.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your profile stays yours, with everything in it so far. It simply stops updating on its own, and you go back to one connected AI. You can still edit, export or delete it anytime.
